Leadership
Craft, Culture, and Cross-Functional Trust
I’m a design leader who thrives at scale, while retaining the craft, expertise, and skill to contribute hands-on when it matters most.
Leadership, for me, is about more than oversight. It’s knowing when to challenge and when to champion, when to lead from the front and when to create space for others to grow into their potential.
I’ve built my career on the ability to be a well-rounded design leader and an equally well-rounded cross-functional leader. I have the experience and know-how to flex between both worlds—deep in the craft in one meeting, a cross-functional collaborator and leader in the next. I bring the rare ability to lead and align teams while also rolling up my sleeves to sharpen the work and push it further when needed.

As a design leader, effective leadership requires adapting your approach to meet the demands of the moment. Over the years, I have anchored my practice around three core pillars that foster a strong culture, elevate high-performing teams, and build enduring cross-functional partnerships.
Empowering Creativity
Creativity doesn’t flourish under pressure—it flourishes under purpose. My leadership approach centers on creating the right environment for ideas to grow. That means balancing hands-on involvement with space for independent thinking, adapting to the unique needs of each team member and project. My goal is to unlock individual potential by offering the right level of support at the right time, enabling teams to move fast, think boldly, and deliver work that resonates.
Guiding Growth
I view leadership as a long-term commitment. Mentorship and coaching are central to my team-building approach, emphasizing not only current projects but also future career development. I’ve led and developed senior creative talent across industries and orgs, and that experience has shaped a leadership style rooted in clarity, empathy, and trust. It’s about building confidence, stretching skills, and creating a culture where collaboration and innovation are second nature.
Building Alignment
Great work doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it happens when everyone is moving in the same direction. I’m a strong believer in the power of cross-functional collaboration, and I’ve spent my career aligning creative vision with business strategy across teams, disciplines, and leadership levels. Whether presenting bold ideas or outlining long-term roadmaps, I employ storytelling and clarity to engage stakeholders, build trust, drive momentum, and transform complex strategies into shared purposes.
